THE LORD HATES THE PROUD
BIBLE PASSAGE: Proverbs 16:5 "the Lord hates all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: they will not go unpunished."
WORD FOR TODAY
There are about two sets of people that the Lord says He hates in the Bible, and one of them is the proud.
When the Lord says He hates, I wonder who else’s love would matter at that point.
You cannot stand the Lord’s hatred, so why choose to be proud?
What do you have that has not been given to you by God? Is it wisdom, numerous certificates, grown and well trained children, a beautiful marriage, flourishing businesses, or good knowledge of the Scripture?
Many people are working even harder than you to have these, yet it has not been given to them.
Let your boast be in the Lord and in the knowledge of Him, and it shall be well with you.
